Driving Directions:
From the North (e.g. Alaska, San Francisco, Templeton)
1. Take US Route 101 South to Santa Margarita/State Route 58 exit (exit 221).
(note: last opportunity for gas is along 101 in Atascadero).
2. Exit on Highway 58 and follow El Camino/Highway 58 through Santa Margarita.
3. Turn right in Santa Margarita following signs to stay on Highway 58 across railroad tracks.
4. Continue on Highway 58/Pozo Road for 3.3 miles outside of Santa Margarita.
5. When Highway 58 splits from Pozo Road, DO NOT TURN LEFT, stay on Pozo Road following signs toward Santa Margarita Lake.
6. Continue on West Pozo Road for 15.9 miles until you arrive at 325 West Pozo Road–a long dirt driveway on the righthand side of the road (photo from Google Street View). (If you reach the Pozo Saloon you’ve gone too far).
From the South (e.g. Mexico, Los Angeles, San Luis Obispo)
1. Take US Route 101 North to Santa Margarita/State Route 58 exit (exit 221).
(note: last opportunity for gas is along 101 in San Luis Obispo).
2. Exit on Highway 58 and follow directions from “3.” above.
Scenic, windy alternative route from the East (Barstow, Bakersfield, Buttonwillow)
1. Take Highway 58 west from Central Valley.
2. Take Left on Pozo Road just before Santa Margarita. Follow directions from “6.” above.
Airports:
The nearest airport is the San Luis Obispo County Regional Airport (SBP), with service from Los Angeles, San Francisco and Phoenix. The wedding location is approximately a 1 hour drive from the airport, see driving directions “From the south” above. Larger airports in Santa Maria, Santa Barbara and San Jose are 2-3 hours from the wedding location.
